Job Description

A regional transportation service provider is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician in Manchester, NH to service medium- and heavy-duty vehicles across New Hampshire. Ideal candidates have hands-on truck, bus, or automotive repair experience. Apply now to grow with a respected service team.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicle systems across a variety of truck, bus, and fleet equipment.
  • Complete road service work remotely from a company truck throughout the surrounding New Hampshire area.
  • Follow established technical and administrative processes for accurate, efficient service.
  • Complete repair orders, parts usage forms, and related service documentation.
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers.
  • Stay current on technical standards, service procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

 

Requirements

  • Required:
    • High school diploma, technical school training, or equivalent experience.
    • 1+ year of experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
    • Ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
    • Own and maintain proper hand tools required to perform job functions.
    • Proficient with basic computer operation and service documentation.
    • Valid driver’s license.

Compensation

  • $20.00 – $54.00/hour starting pay based on experience, certifications, training, and skill level
  • Sign-on bonus available; terms may apply
