Position Overview

The Service Manager will be responsible for leading the service department, managing workflow, supporting technicians, and ensuring operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support service technicians and shop personnel
• Oversee daily shop operations, workflow, and scheduling
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent communication and service
• Manage work orders, repair timelines, estimates, and invoicing
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and recovery metrics within the shop
• Ensure repairs and operations meet safety and quality standards
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within heavy equipment, diesel, or service operations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Proven ability to problem-solve and lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of shop operations, technician workflow, and service management systems
