Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty fleet trucks to factory and industry standards, including mechanical, electrical, and brake systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, fluid services, tire work, rotations, and general fleet upkeep to keep vehicles road-ready.
- Inspect vehicles and complete required safety checks to support DOT compliance, including brake inspections and maintenance.
- Work with the shop team to identify root causes, plan repairs, and verify safe vehicle performance after service.
- Accurately document repairs, inspections, parts usage, and daily activity in maintenance records and reports.
- Monitor parts, tools, and supply inventory and communicate shop needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow company, DOT, and OSHA safety standards.
Requirements

Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of fleet maintenance experience on heavy-duty trucks
- Strong diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance skills
- Ability to read and understand repair manuals and technical reference materials
- Experience using diagnostic tools and basic computer applications
- Strong attention to detail with a dependable, professional work approach
- Commitment to safe work practices and regulatory compliance

Compensation
- $30.00 – $45.00/hour starting pay based on experience and qualifications
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- $1,000 quarterly tool allowance for the first 3 years, then $200 quarterly thereafter
