Diesel Mechanic – Class 8 Trucks – Night Shift

A well-established, family-owned conveyor-truck and aggregate delivery company in Washougal, WA is hiring a Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair Class 8 trucks and specialized hydraulic equipment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect Class 8 trucks and specialized hydraulic construction equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on Class 8 diesel engines and chassis components.
- Diagnose and repair chassis-related mechanical issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and specialized hydraulic equipment.
- Perform welding as needed for Class 8 truck repairs.
- Complete repair work indoors and outdoors across the Washougal, WA and Salem, OR locations.
Requirements
- Required:

- Hands-on experience with Class 8 diesel engines.
- Proficiency in welding for truck repair applications.
- Experience with diesel engine and chassis repair.
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems and hydraulic equipment repair.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors at both service locations.
- Available Tuesday through Friday for a 6:00 PM night-shift start.

Compensation
- $45.00 – $50.00/hour, depending on experience
- Guaranteed 40+ hours per week
- Overtime available
