Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major repairs on semi-trucks, trailers, and related fleet equipment.
• Complete preventive maintenance to keep tractors and trailers safe, reliable, and road-ready.
• Run diagnostic tests, troubleshoot issues, and complete repairs in line with factory and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate repair records for completed maintenance and repair work.
• Support parts inventory, shop cleanliness, and safe daily repair operations.
• Lead maintenance workflow and work closely with team members to keep the department running efficiently.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining semi-trucks, trailers, or similar heavy-duty fleet equipment.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with diesel trucks and trailer systems.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, inspections, and industry repair standards.
  • Ability to complete accurate repair documentation and maintain organized work records.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in a shop environment.
  • Dependable work habits, safe repair practices, and ability to support an efficient maintenance department.

• Preferred:

• • ASE or Michigan mechanic certifications are highly preferred.
  • CDL Class A license preferred.
