Job Description
A recognized & established company is urgently looking for experienced Diesel Truck Mechanics to join their operations in Jersey City, NJ. This is a field servicing role, & the successful Diesel Techs will be performing maintenance, diagnostics, & repair based out of a company service truck. Service truck privileges are included.
Key Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of experience servicing class 8 trucks & trailers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Thorough understanding of electrical, hydraulic, & mechanical systems.
- Proficiency using OEM diagnostic software.
- Possess own set of tools.
- Valid CDL A, or ability to obtain one.
- Clean driving record.
Shifts
Day shift, 7:00AM to 3:30PM (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.
Compensation
$30.00 to $35.00 per hour starting wage. Excellent benefits package, including extensive coverage on medical, dental, vision, & life and AD&D, along with a retirement savings program, annual boot allowance, etc.
