A long-established, family-owned truck and equipment service organization in Chester, PA is hiring a Diesel Road Service Technician to repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and industrial machinery. Duties & Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside breakdowns and diagnose mechanical issues in the field.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, heavy-duty trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, air brake, fuel, wiring, and engine systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, routine service, and emergency repairs in the field and shop.
• Complete service reports and work orders while communicating repair updates with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain service truck inventory, shop tools, and equipment while following safety procedures and DOT regulations.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Proven diesel mechanic experience with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, and hydraulics.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to perform roadside service work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer or tablet skills for service reporting and diagnostics.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call coverage for road service.

• • Previous road service or mobile diesel repair experience.
  • CDL.
