Job Description

A successful repair and maintenance facility has an immediate opening for an experienced heavy-duty Diesel Truck Mechanic near Buffalo, NY to work on its fleet of diesel trucks and trailers.

Qualifications: 

• 2-5+ years of experience performing repairs on relevant diesel systems 
• Knowledge and experience using diagnostic software's to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Strong verbal and documentation skills 
• Experience performing DOT inspections 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform fleet repairs including but not limited to: 
  • Preventative maintenances (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication) 
  • Diagnostics (Allison, Cummins, JPRO, Techtool, and Wabco available in shop) 
  • ABS and braking system repairs 
  • Hydraulic repairs 
  • Light engine and driveline repairs  
    •  

Compensation: 

• Up $42.00/hour plus 10 percent shift bonus
• Full comprehensive benefits are available after the 90 day probationary period: medical, dental, life, vision, vacation, 401K, and tool/boot allowance quarterly

Shifts:

• Monday - Friday
• 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
• 10 or more hours of OT available weekly!
