Job Description

A well-established and reputable employer is looking to add an experienced and knowledgeable Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanics for a Field Service opportunity in  the Orangeburg, South Carolina area. 

Technicians will be responsible for performing inspections, services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Trucks and Heavy Equipment using company DOT and OSHA guidelines to ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently. 

Qualifications:

• At least 4+ years experience diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, diesel engines, and/or heavy trucks.
• Strong hydraulics, electrical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with diagnostic software (JPRO, Tech Tool, Cummins Insite, etc.).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting diesel engines and related systems.
• Previous experience working in the field is preferred.
• A CDL, is preferred, but not required 
• Own tools, valid driver's license, and clean driving record

Compensation

• $32.00 - $36.00/hour, depending on previous experience and training.

Schedule

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 6:00pm
• OT available after 40 hours.
• Lots of overtime available.
• Must be willing to accommodate additional hours and occasional overnight travel.
