Diesel Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair all types of vehicles.
- Complete required paperwork related to repair orders and parts usage.
- Respond to road calls as needed.
- Own and maintain the proper hand tools required to perform job functions.
- Follow direction from the shop foreman or other supervisor.
Requirements
- Required:

- High school diploma, trade school training, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of training or experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
- Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card.
- CDL or eligibility to obtain one.
- ASE certifications or willingness to work toward them.
- Adequate English verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical strength and conditioning to perform required tasks.

Compensation
- $25.00 – $42.00/hour starting pay based on experience, training, and overall skill level
