Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform minor to major repairs on diesel trucks and trailers.
• Service diesel engines, exhaust aftertreatment systems, and related truck and trailer components.
• Use engine diagnostic software and testing procedures to identify problems and plan repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and regular service to keep fleet equipment operating safely.
• Complete roadside service calls as needed and support daily fleet maintenance priorities.
• Maintain accurate repair records, basic personal hand tools, and a safe, clean, organized work area.

Requirements

• Required:

• • Proven hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic or diesel technician working on trucks, trailers, or similar heavy-duty equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, exhaust aftertreatment systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs independently in a fast-paced fleet environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Must provide basic personal hand tools; specialty and larger tools are provided.
  • Occasional travel to Wilmington, NC required.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening, including a drug test and background check.
