A major public transit fleet operator is hiring a Heavy Duty Partsperson in Greater Vancouver, BC to manage stockroom parts receiving, issuing, and inventory control. Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, issue, and track parts and supplies in a large computerized stockroom supporting fleet maintenance operations.
- Maintain accurate records for the receipt, control, and distribution of parts and materials.
- Support daily stockroom operations and complete related duties tied to inventory control, parts handling, and supply management.
Requirements
- Required:

- B.C.T.Q. certificate as a Partsperson, or a Heavy Duty Parts & Industrial Engines ticket.
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the last 5 years as a Partsperson in a trucking or heavy equipment environment.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Current driver’s abstract submitted with application.
- Driving record with a maximum of 9 points in the past 3 years and no impaired convictions, roadside suspensions, or prohibitions in the past 5 years.
