Job Description

A well-established company is actively looking to hire a Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic.  You will be provided with a multitude of professional development opportunities, a take home service truck and will be responsible for assisting their clients in and around Barrie. 

The Ideal Heavy Equipment Mechanic Will Have:

• 4+ years of experience with diagnosis and repair of heavy machinery such as generators, as well as aerial, and earth-moving equipment
• 421A is preferred but not mandatory 
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel systems, Electrical, Aftertreatment and Emissions system issues, brakes,  suspension, troubleshooting Hydraulics and fuel systems
• Ensure equipment readiness and meets safety standards 
• Good communication skills and ability to make professional recommendations on equipment 
• Own tools, a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass backgrounds

Compensation:

• Up to $40.00/hour + bonus program on top of base wage 
• Take-Home Service Truck

Shift Schedule:

• Day Shift, Monday to Friday
