Job Description

A Canadian crane and fleet maintenance company is seeking a 310T Technician to join their 4-bay shop in Scarborough, ON. You'll work on a specialized fleet of approximately 50 vehicles, primarily mobile cranes and heavy-duty trucks. The role involves scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and component repairs in a clean, well-lit shop environment with full tool provision by the company.

Requirements:

Must-haves:

• 310T certification or equivalent capability/willingness to obtain
• 2+ years of heavy-duty diesel experience (or equivalent demonstrated skill)
• Preference to those with 4 plus years experience
• Proficiency in brakes, steering, suspension, kingpins, and clutch repairs
• Ability to diagnose emissions and aftertreatment systems
• Experience with Kenworth and Freightliner trucks and familiarity with OEM diagnostic software
• Own hand tools
• Valid G license and preferably a Commercial Driver's License 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage: $40–$50/hour

Hours:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Overtime: 0–5 hours weekly (voluntary weekend work available)
• On-call: Minimal after-hours callouts (~once every 3 months for emergency breakdowns)
• Work Environment: 4-bay garage; 90% shop-based maintenance and projects; occasional service calls with company service truck (Ram 4500)
