Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our service team in Stoney Creek, ON. This role combines in-shop repair work with field service calls. You'll work on a variety of heavy equipment including cranes and compactors, performing everything from preventative maintenance to full rebuilds. Our facility features eight bays, three overhead cranes, excellent ventilation, and radiant heating—a well-organized, modern workspace.

Requirements:

• Heavy equipment repair experience (4+ years)
• Proficiency with hydraulics, electrical systems, and computer diagnostics
• Customer service skills and professional demeanor
• Willingness to obtain working-at-heights certification (or existing certification preferred)
• Experience with Cummins Insight or similar diagnostic software
• Forklift certification
• Field service experience

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage range: $40–$50/hour (based on experience; exceptional candidates may earn more)

Hours:

• Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Minimal overtime (typically 0–5 hours/week, after 44 hours)
• Minimal on-call requirements for field emergencies
